The Humanity First collection is designed to showcase how MSF teams are putting humanity first and providing lifesaving medical care across borders. It is thanks to our valued donors that all of this is made possible. Read on to learn all about how your support is changing lives.
Humanity First with MSF
For our dedicated Doctors Without Borders (MSF) field workers, putting humanity first is more than just saving lives, it is a commitment to humanitarianism. It means more than providing medical care, it means being principled and professional: serving with compassion, impartiality and non-judgement.
We asked some of our fieldworkers the question ‘Why MSF?’ to find out the reason they choose to work for our organisation. In listening to their answers, we hope that you’re able to see that for them it’s about their passion and commitment to the patients we treat in over 70 countries around the world.
Follow nurse Jeneba Jalloh, doctors Lindsay Demes and Chinonso Emmanuel Okorie, and community health officer Brima Momoh as they go about their busy days treating patients in Hangha hospital. In this video, they speak about their passions and motivations for their jobs, as well as the medical needs they see every day.
